Our youth have so much to contend with today – from gender identity issues to bullying, drug abuse and even violence in schools. They need a spiritual compass to help them navigate their way through the rapidly changing landscape of teenage life. That’s where we come in!

This academy was designed by our Senior Pastors, Bishop Lyle Dukes and Pastor Deborah Dukes, to empower, train and equip young ladies in middle and high school  and young men in elementary, middle and high school to reach their fullest potential in God by providing them with the tools to build a strong Christian character and confidence that only comes from a relationship with Christ.

Through the Academies we provided godly instruction, correction and encouragement as well as life skills.  Our courses covered Bible Basics, Leadership, How to Defeat Temptation, Avoiding Gang Culture/Human Trafficking, Respect, How to Handle Bullying, Responsibility and more.   The Academies also afforded young people an opportunity to meet new friends and experience the joy of serving others through our Community Service events.  On Sunday, May 20th, we’re closing out the 5-week course with a graduation ceremony and presenting each student that met all of the course requirements with a Certificate of Completion – the perfect way to celebrate the growth and the accomplishments of these awesome young men and women!
